We have a strong reputation for fencing, gates and wooden buildings, which covers mainly residential properties in our area

Offering several different styles of treated softwood fencing - traditional wood panel, featheredge, arris rail and close edge..

• Panel fences are popular for residential properties give great privacy we use high quality local panels (made by A&S paving of Crediton)  3ft, 4ft, 5ft & 6ft the customers choice we can use branded panels Jewsons or Tuckers of Crediton. We use hundreds of these each year.
• Feather edge boards offer a strong flexible fence, feather edge softwood is pressure treated which tapers from one end to the other. Usually placed upright. Ideal for undulating / custom boundaries.
• Arris rail is one of the strongest fences we build and many of our creations are directly facing winds from Dartmoor. In general terms they are triangular rails affixed with metal couplings to our standard posts (100mm wide) then the fence pales are nail or screwed on.  They can be mounted with a 5mm wind gap for extra strength.
• Close Edge or Hit and Miss (opposite sides) these fences are a strong tall choice - 100mm posts with three rails running horizontal (top middle and bottom) and softwood treated pails. We have customised this style to client requirement. Good for privacy, we often use this system for fencing an uneven boundary.

Fencing & Gates

Recently we have been asked to create children’s safe play enclosures (school and at home) also dog run fences incorporating wood and wire.

Additionally we make decking, pergolas, pavilions, workshops, man sheds, outside shelters, open garages, potting sheds, garden buildings including summer houses, offices and art / reading rooms.

Size varies from 1m x 1m to 12m x 12m normally.  It can include concrete bases, double glazing, thermal barriers, dpm and custom finishes. Just ask and I’m sure we can build it for you.
